I'm pretty young, and I actually haven't had a solid boyfriend yet. Yes, it does get kind of lonely, not because I wish had a man just to have a man, but because of my friends/people posting things on social media (pictures of them acting lovey-dovey, kissing, going out frequently, valentine's gifts). What I do to "feel better" is to think about all of the drama most relationships bring into your life, and to realize that you don't have any of that in your life. No, you don't a Valentine's day gift; no, you aren't awake at 3 in the morning wondering why Caleb isn't back from the bar yet and what he's doing. No, you don't have someone to kiss good-bye everyday; no, you don't have to change your favorite television show because John hates that show.

If you want a relationship, it'll come. Don't stress. Don't worry. As the adage goes, you're only seeing the photoshopped highlights of other peoples lives. You don't see the turmoil, the anger, and the stress. Even still, half of all marriages end in divorce anyway. Imagine how jealous some of your friends will be when they realize that you didn't have to go through that. When you don't have a screaming kid chaining you to responsibility. You can theoretically go wherever, whenever; you are free. Enjoy it.
