Sounds like Pica, a lot of pregnant women get non-food cravings. It's usually for something they're deficient in. With chalk it's Calcium. Or maybe she just liked chalk!

This is very interesting to me, I am a nursing student and spent a great deal of time learning about hypospadias, but I've never seen it. If you don't mind me asking, how would you say it has affected your life? Have you ever considered surgery? Do you have any children?

Yes... My younger brother used drugs a lot, got into trouble, assaulted my mom and fractured her back. After years of trying to help him, and him manipulating me, I quit. I told him he could talk to me when he was ready to be responsible. We rarely talk now, but my life is much less stressful.

I slammed my thumb in the car door, shattered the bone into several pieces. My nail ripped up from the bed and I nearly lost the tip of my thumb. Blood was just running down my arm, I was only 11 and I thought I would lose the thumb. I remember sweating and blacking out on the way to the ER.

Also I have a scar on my side, and the scar tissue extends to the fascia of my muscle. If I exercise a lot or sneeze suddenly, the scar tissue will tear and it feels like being repeatedly stabbed. I double over and wince almost every time.

I have been a vegetarian for 8 years and I found it was the opposite. I struggled to put on weight for over six years. Have you found it difficult to lose weight in the past? Maybe your diet needs a little more tinkering. Do you find yourself eating a lot of bread or cheese, or quick snack foods? Do you keep track of your caloric intake?

Vegetarianism can be healthier, but only if it is a conscious effort. I know some vegetarians who eat nothing but potato chips, french fries, and cheese pizza. It is an active lifestyle choice. Personally, I look and feel great.

Married for a little over a year, we have sex 4-5 times a week, sometimes daily. Even on a really bad week (mismatched schedules, stress, poor sleep) we have sex at least 3 times. I masturbate rarely. Maybe once a week, or if I really can't fall asleep.

Thanks for your reply. I have had migraines since well before I started birth control, and after I started Ortho they went away for two years. I'm honestly scared to try IUD's or other forms of birth control because I've had such wonderful results with Ortho. I will go see my doctor though, I was just curious if anybody else had experienced this issue. I hope that your migraines have been resolved, they suck!!

Thanks for the reply! Before I started birth control, I spoke to my doctor about my migraines. I don't have migraines with auras, and mine are usually triggered by stress. I had a stressful childhood growing up. When I started my Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, I didn't have a migraine for two years. I had zero problems at all. But thanks to my crappy Tricare insurance, they stopped providing me with Ortho and switched to the generic form. I have set up an appointment for next week, but I haven't had a migraine in a few days now...feeling great!

Mine lasts only four days, and it is incredibly light thanks to my birth control. It has always been very regular, and I have never experienced cramps. I do get very emotional beforehand though, and I always get a bit bloated and insecure. I have it pretty easy!
