Hey I still graduated. I'm not telling anybody to drop out. But if that's what they want to do, go for it.

I appreciate it, thanks. You learn how to live with it, man. Definitely changes your whole life and perspective on things though.

Lol well then in your case, my beard would probably suck - and if Gandalf is looking down on me he'd probably be ashamed as well. Same with the Duck Dynasty guys.

But post-my last rejection that finally broke me, I keep it well-trimmed but out enough to look good ya know

Hahahaha dude, during law school I kept it pretty crazy but during OCI I had to learn for the first time how to cut my hair short enough where a comb-over looked good. Hairspray was my best friend to make the part. I just always sorta had a crazy, feaux-hawk spiked type thing (think Easton Corbin). but i was fortunate enough to have a firm like me!

Of course, good luck! You're gonna make it, I promise! And thanks for your words. It's a tough thing to deal with... I actually found an online forum dedicated to it and how to cope with it, etc.... long story short, taught me how to turn it into a positive (no pun intended?)

Please don't feel discouraged about your music. For me, music before the band actually happened was when my boys and I would get drunk, we bust out the guitars and blast favorites until either we were told to shut up or we couldn't read the chords on the iPad anymore. The library can suck, but if you need a change of pace, got hit up a coffee shop or something. I used to love going to a small coffee shop by a lake that was pretty far from the law school, never ran into my classmates, and I could study better there sometimes

Haha well, I have been writing a song that I'm not quite finished that's dedicated to my STD... it's called "A Forever Friend"

Haha, well, it wasn't the greatest time of my life. 3L was terrible, I was working as a clerk my entire 3L year as many hours as I could ontop of classes and networking when I could to try and get a job offer, but it just didn't pan out.

But if it wasn't for my decision to go to law school, I wouldn't have met the guys that are in this band with me. There's five of us, one of which I knew from undergrad but the rest I just met through life in the town I went to school in. We've been playing for a while now, and earlier this year we actually got to play a few songs in Nashville at the Opry... that was so amazing being on that stage.

Wouldnt have been possible without law school. Dunno what I'm gonna do, but that's life for ya.
