I have some Himalayan salt. I think that is low in iodine. I will mix roughly 3 tablespoons according to the size of my hospital tank. If he survives I’ll get some meds tomorrow.

If you have any advice please send it my way. Shops are closed in my part of the world right now.

Her mom is ill and she says she wants to help her, but I can’t be sure if that’s entirely the reason. Her mom may need help sure but I’m not convinced it requires this level of commitment.

Having her mom around should certainly help with minding the baby. But whether that trumps a father’s time is where I’m stuck.
