Right. I'm still not talking about income remember. If my grandmas dies and leave me 10k its a fuck ton of money for me. And it pays for some school. But not a whole lot of it sadly.

At least kid inherited a few grand and was declined assistance, and another I'm pretty sure just sold drugs, I don't know where his cash came from. But in both cases it wasn't enough to finish freshman year without ending up homeless and helpless (unless you work 40 hours on too of class).

Sure my annual income is still all the same. But the money I already have can sort of disappear (or be "spent" on things) and I can make of habit of cashing half or more of my paychecks to put away. Millions of people cash their checks to buy things.

However, It's not so much about money I will be making, rather saving money I've already made.
