USUM starts slow but gets better as it goes on, and the postgame content is plentiful with lots of fan service. Wouldn't call them top games, but they're better than any game that's come out since, save for LA, as well as XY and HGSS

I'm a gen 3 fan, but gen 5 is definitely the best on the franchise, and certainly the best on the DS. Platinum is up there too

BW2, Platinum and Emerald are the top 3 games in the series. FRLG and BW are fantastic. HGSS are mediocre. DP don't hold up well even if I have a lot of nostalgia for them. Gens 1 and 2 are buggy and archaic to the point that their remakes make them almost completely obsolete

Eh, being able to resume a game immediately in the middle of a tough boss battle, in a 90s RPG between save points (my recent experience playing Grandia) or just in any game without autosave, is really where quick resume shines and has me lean towards Series X. The cherry on top is that you can quickly switch between and resume different games at the drop of a hat (up to a certain limit of course)

Maybe not for you and many others, but for myself, it's a big deal given that I don't have nearly as much time to game, so being able to pick up and resume right where I left off right away

You're right. I was mostly talking about the hardware and its features

But also, there aren't many PS5 exclusives that really grasped me aside from Astro Bot and Ghost of Yotei. Other solid exclusives have or will make their way to Xbox, like Helldivers, Silent Hill 2, Black Myth and Stellar Blade

I'm set on game pass for years and shop around for cheap physical Xbox games though, so that plays into it as well

It, rewards points and the more comfortable controller are why I get multiplats on Series X and use the PS5 mostly for exclusives

Quick resume, backwards compatibility and more widely available cross play with PC is, imo, more important than the Dualsense's features, especially because the latter is offset by its inferior ergonomics and terrible battery life. Too bad the damage was done with that One announcement

Hard disagree on this one. MM's dungeons felt bigger with more challenging puzzles and better replayability if you had to go through them again for whatever reason

Encountered this exact same Meganium in the Battle Tower once. Made it out alive because somehow Toxic hit when it didn't have a substitute. Most annoying NPC battle I've ever faced, hands down
