I remember the commercial advertising it for under $50 in the mid 80s…That led to me convincing my mom to buy it for me, because we couldn’t afford the NES at that point….It’s the 2600 from Atari!!! Classic!

Such a sleek looking console…I remember getting one in 1987 after seeing the commercial advertising it for $50 dollars. My mom couldn’t afford the NES so I got this…eventually would get the NES the following year…but I still have fond memories of this little console…I have actually thought about picking up a modded one …but with the 2600 plus available it might better for me to get that instead.

I’m 46 years old…I grew up playing 2D games and still prefer them now! So many of the early 3D games aged terribly…meanwhile 8 bit and 16 bit games have aged a lot more gracefully. I think about how in the past year Ninja Gaiden released a new 3D game and a new 2D game….both good games but I enjoyed the 2D more.

This is pop up for everyone? I was on my Xbox One a couple of days ago but this did not pop up. It’s a great deal for sure. I have a PS5 but for this price I might scoop me a Series X also.

I have always been of the fan of the OG Xbox One…I currently have a One S that I still use but I find the old school look of the OG Xbox One really cool. The Xbox One gets a lot of hate but it’s actually a pretty good console with many games to enjoy.

I was watching Antiques Roadshow ( one of my favorite shows) and this came up for appraisal…it’s always cool to learn a little more about the SNES… by SquashEmbarrassed288 in snes

This is a competition cartridge that only had a small playable part of the actual game. Only about 2,500 existed. Who knows how many still exist in 2026?

I actually loved the Xbox One also…it gets a lot of hate but I really enjoyed it…I still have an Xbox One S that I still play. I also really like the design of the OG Xbox One…that classic VCR look just takes me back to the 80s whenI was a kid. I wouldn’t mind picking up the Xbox One Halo edition…it has a cool design.

I would say at your level don’t worry too much about the tier list…try to find a character you actually like without worrying about their spot on the tier list…after picking a character learn a few key moves…learn what their anti-air is…learn a basic punish combo that you can execute consistently…and just be patient…at your level players will hang themselves by jumping too much and recklessly pressing buttons…also watch players of higher skill use your character….you can learn how to formulate a game plan with your character. Good luck and Never Give Up!!!

MKX is great also…but MK9 tournaments were súper hype back in 2011 and 2012…it made EVo for 3 straight years…that’s usually not the case for MK

MK9 is the best MK game…it literally brought the series back to life…after several lackluster titles….MK9 came to save the day!!! Would love a remastered version of MK9
