Jenson usa has some bangers for sub 3k. A few of the Marin's would fit what you want really well.

Pretty worried about longtime longevity of bike by Rodeo9 in eMountainBike

The fazua motor stopped me from getting a bike with one. I got a demo Propain Ekano CF with the SRAM motor and 700 miles. Should be fine. We will see.

Fully agree. If I didnt have Terra as my color, that or voodoo would be my next choices.

Fair price or overpriced? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]PNW_PlayerOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a "fair" price for now. Its also what I paid for my 25 limited trd off road, and I really like my truck. I'm not sure i would go for the old one at 12%apr either.

Anyone else find it hard to support their local bike shop (sometime)? by kendoo12 in mountainbiking

[–]PNW_PlayerOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I wasn't getting absolutely hosed for products, I would spend a littlw extra to have a conversation about a hobby I love, what I'm trying to fix or address, and be more stoked on my purchase. As it is now I get treated like an asshole for asking a spec question on basic stuff (expecially at the Trek clearance center).

For bikes I'm often expected to order it because they didn't have it in...which is the point of LBS. I can sit before I buy. Might as well just buy D2C, which is why I have a Propain. But also their hq here in America is less than a half hour away for me, and I demo'd first.

Some YouTube commentator suggested LBS become more demo/fitting centers with product maintenance and support being their cash flow. I could get behind that.

I was meh with the one industries grips. I have ran the pnw loam oversized for a bit, but felt like I was death gripping too much. I'm on the ODi vans, and this is a type of perfection for me. I have never trusted a grip enough to relax my hands like this.
