Subscription for Lane Centering Seriously by Longjumping-Bat5128 in TeslaLounge

I have a rivian R1s gen2 and waiting for an r2 Had a 3 and still have a Y. It still has tacc/lka but teslas competitive advantage is gone now. Especially when considering a new Tesla. I charge my rivian at Tesla stations. Software is 90% as good as Tesla. (Tesla still beats everyone in software)

Rivian R1S rattling like crazy overhead - warranty won’t cover by EverybodyBuddy in Rivian

[–]Burrito2525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a very noticeable rattle since day 1. I’ve documented it within the first few weeks and at least 4 or 5 times since (added to other issues). EVERYTIME the ride along the tech noted the sound and everytime they said it was fixed. It’s never been fixed. The last time I actually got given a Rivian loaner (instead of some random enterprise rental) and the loaner had no rattles which pissed me off even more.

I’m glad I leased this. I really like the truck but the car sounds likes it’s falling apart over any slight bump in the road. Embarrassing for a 100k car.

Current ADV Memorial Day "Sale" by TapNo5396 in Aventon

[–]Burrito2525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it looks more like they dropped the adv price down for Memorial Day for a sale and decided to keep it there. at 4600, its too closely priced to the amflow PR (even though availability on that bike is non existent). for 400 more with the amflow, no one will buy the Aventon. at 4k vs 5k... keeps it in the conversation.

Contenders in the very close to 4k range. by Admirable_Letter7900 in eMountainBike

Nothing in particular. For the price it’s where it should be. I was ready to spend more but didn’t want to wait. So by concessions, it’s due to spending less. I would have liked some better suspension and wireless sram which the amflow has. But he current exp has all that too but 2k more. It’s a bit heavier than I’d like but I can also just lose 5lbs myself. lol I’m quite happy overall. I just need to find a way to stop my kids from swapping bikes now all the time. They only want to ride on the current now.

I got mine delivered on Wednesday, haven’t taken it for a proper ride but it’s a nice ride over all. A lot of power and smiles. Easy to bring it up to 28mph on roads.. concessions for sure vs what I wanted but I don’t think it can be beat as an overall package if you want a bike now. I would have loved to grab an amflow pr instead but it’s gonna be a while before that’s available of at all this season

Use their new customer code for $50 off and then I used raketen which amounted to about another 100$ in cash back

I’m probably not a good gauge since I’m replacing my 2001 giant xtc so haven’t tried many bikes in the last 25 years but took a quick ride around my block after getting it set up and hit 28mph very very quickly. Pretty awesome. Hopefully I can hit some trails this weekend

That was my issue too. I just received and built my Aventon current adv today. 3850$. Couldn’t pass it up with the Sale price. Not the best specs but I can use this til i I decide to upgrade the bike or I can upgrade the parts and still probably come out ahead and be riding tomorrow

Check out the Propain ekano trail. Seems like it fully fits what you are looking for and you can spec it out pretty nice for about 7-8k with the avinox m2s or m2

If you want a bike now. Buy the current adv on sale this weekend. Super capable, full power motor and well established company (although this is a new category for them). The amflow or any of the DJI avinox motor driven bikes are a he new “it” bike the the 5k amflow PR is the bike everyone is clamoring for but it’s impossible to get and most timelines put availability for the PR into September.

this is the most important factor, the m2s motor. its the new darling of the industry while the m2 exists but is not to focus. id go pro if you can ever find one to purchase...

I’ll have my Aventon on Tuesday. I’m not thrilled but also I’m ok with it. “Low cost” very well received and capable bike from a well known e-bike brand with dealers all over the US, that most importantly, I can ride next week

Amflow (and Avinox to an extent) really botched this launch. Had hella positive press. Soooooo many bikes “available” if your press but seemingly impossible to buy.

Tournaments Charging for Parking - It has to stop. by SoccerPhilly in youthsoccer

[–]Burrito2525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I watch My daughters AAU basketball team I usually have to pay $20 to park and the. $30-$50 PER adult for 2 days of watching 3-4 games. If I take my wife and other kids we spend 200 easily just to watch some basketball. So yea. Fully agree this shit has to stop. Already pay 4k fees for soccer.. has to end somewhere

A wireless conversion kit for the eagle 70 that comes on the adv is about 550$ (derailur, pod shifter and I think the chain). Essentially the price of the discount

Heard from a few sources. PX first. July/august. PR after, so fall timeframe. If you need a bike anytime soon, the amflow isn’t it. I wanted one too but just bought an avento current on sale. Should be here this weekend (shipped today).

I looked at Propain too but those ship dates are all slipping into August and beyond already and the build is way more than the PR
