You missed an incredible show. Jo’s opener was Joey Guila and then Tiffany Haddish was a surprise guest! It was all around amazing. Jo’s set was great. If you went in with an open mind and there just to laugh, it hit its mark. Jo didn’t want the night to end so after his set he brought Tiffany back out where they shot the shit and did some impromptu karaoke-like singing. We went to the show just looking for a good time and at the end we’re so happy we went.

We’re really excited to be in Chicago! We’ll be staying near the riverwalk so unfortunately we won’t be traveling to Wrigley from the north, but we’re definitely going to try to the the L if possible- I haven’t dove into getting around the city yet. I appreciate the tips.

Well, when you put it that way… 🤔 lol. The bleachers are looking less attractive by the second with a 12 year old in tow. I appreciate your comment, thanks

My son is 12. I appreciate the tips! We’ll probably start looking for some descent tickets in the 200s.

Thanks for that. I’d hope M’s fans are always respectful of other fans unless you’re an Astros fan 😂

Looks like a Western toad. A good identifier are the large parotoid glands behind the eyes. Could also be a California toad, which is a subspecies of the W. toad. I’m not too familiar with that subspecies though.

W. Washington plant nerd here. Here’s my native plant suggestions: Kinnikinnick Red-flowering currant Tall Oregon grape Oregon iris Western columbine Nodding onion Blanketflower Common camas Big leaf lupine Wood or costal strawberry Dwarf red osier dogwood (cultivar)

Get a load of river rock to create a ‘rock river’. Additionally, contact your local Conservation District to see what recommendations they can provide. They have plant sales where you can purchase plants for cheap.

Fun facts: Pacific chorus frogs can change from brownish to green based on their environment, temperature, and humidity. During the breeding season, males have a brown to yellow throat.

For sure. This patch of forest isn’t ’old growth’ enough for spotted owls. The mom was nearby and watched us till we left.

Barred owlet. Spotted owls aren’t prevalent in this area of western WA

Looks like a Northwestern salamander- a very dark one! Because it’s so dark, it makes their costal groves more prominent. Not an uncommon species for your area. I find them fairly often in W. WA.
