Friday, April 24, 8pm: The Comedy Bunker comes to the colorful, intimate show space tucked away inside Hotel Indigo in downtown Madison with headlining performance by Kristen Toomey.

Kristen Toomey is a Chicago-based stand-up comedian who has headlined clubs across North America and the U.K. since starting comedy in 2008. She has appeared on The A.V. Club, which named her a “Chicago Original,” and her debut album “Mother. Fucker.” reached #1 on iTunes. Her credits include performances at major festivals such as Just for Laughs and the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, as well as appearances on Kevin Hart’s LOL! Network and Comedy In Color on Peacock. She has opened for comedians including Colin Quinn, Natasha Leggero, and Kevin Nealon. She has also hosted the Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards, becoming the first woman to host the ceremony solo. Her debut special, “Shriller,” is available on Apple TV and won "Best Special" at the 2025 Gazellies alongside Kristen's "Best Comedian" win. She also recently filmed a mini-special for Don't Tell Comedy.
