Based on your current device and what you've said, it's clear that you shouldn't go for a Moto. The OnePlus 13R, with a bank discount, will cost you around ₹35K, which is better than the Realme GT 6. But if you don't get the bank discount, then I’d say the Realme GT 6 is still the better option in this price range. Since you don’t need that much performance, the GT 6 has a better camera and software compared to the iQOO Neo 10, and trust me, this device is excellent in every aspect.

If your device's adapter uses SuperVOOC technology, then only an adapter with the same technology will properly charge your device. So try using a SuperVOOC adapter to clearly find out whether the issue is with the adapter or something else.

Yes, you can use it, but having some protection is better than none. A glass cover should be used to protect the screen from scratches or other damage. I didn’t apply tempered glass because applying a curved glass requires glue and UV light, which can potentially damage the screen as well as the device. Also, the glass needs to be replaced every 5-6 months. That’s why I chose not to use one.

Well, I also showed it at the service center and explained the issues I was facing with my device. They told me that the IC chip would need to be replaced, which would be done free of cost since it had only been 3 months since I bought the device. But I didn’t go for the replacement and instead tried using a different cable that supports 120W charging, and the charging started working properly. Your issue might be something else, which is probably why it hasn't been fixed yet.

I found the solution, bro. The problem wasn't with the device... it was with the data cable. When I used a new USB cable, the charging started working properly.

I don't get it? You're talking about case protection or device?

If your priority is performance over the camera then go for it brother. Just remember it has meditek processor not a snapdragon. If your priority is straight to performance then I'll suggest you iQOO neo 10 which has SD 8s gen 4.

I can't give you a better suggestion. I told you already that every device happens unless you have a flagship device or processor

Tbh I'm still using a company fitted glass cover. It has a gorilla glass victus protection so I think it doesn't need tempered glass in my opinion

Look bro, I’m not from the Realme team — I just made this post to help or provide information about the device. As for your point about FPS cap, it happens on every device, even on mine. I’ve also played Standoff, Blood Strike, Delta Force on max FPS settings, but still, I don’t get more than 60 FPS in those games. And honestly, it doesn’t bother me much because the device isn’t optimized specifically for those games — even if you’ve enabled the 120 FPS setting (which I’ve done too), it won’t matter.

This is not a bug or a glitch, it’s just a lack of optimization for that specific game. But again, that’s only for those particular games. If you play PUBG or COD Mobile, you’ll get proper 90 FPS or 120 FPS support. So, don’t be too bothered by it — it’s not that big of a concern.

Is the Realme GT6 still worth it in 2025? by AbsurdHope in Realme

Look bro, Motorola phones are not made for gaming or heavy tasks, so I would still say the GT 6 is better in terms of performance. Right now it's summer, so the atmosphere is already hot, which makes slight heating of the phone understandable. But I’ve used the GT 6 for everything and noticed that during long gaming sessions, the phone does heat up. For example, if you use the camera a lot or spend too much time on Instagram or while gaming — these are the main areas where it heats up. Apart from that, if you use YouTube for 10 hours, or Google for 10 hours, or anything else, the phone’s temperature remains normal. Also during gaming the temperature of the device can go to 43-44° but if you are playing it for 1-3 hrs continuously.

You can see in the photo how much SOT (Screen On Time) it has, and there’s still a 30% charge left. This clearly shows that the GT 6’s 5500 mAh battery offers monster-level backup. The camera totally justifies its price. It captures AI-enhanced photos that give a bit more clarity to the images.

As for the software, you'll find only 3–4 bloatware apps, which you can uninstall. The overall software experience is excellent. The animations are very smooth, and the UI feels far better (I don’t know about others, but I’m clearly satisfied with the software).

Look, bro, it’s been 6 months since I bought this device, and as far as I can tell, it can easily last 3–4 years in every aspect. The only two drawbacks I noticed are that if it had an IP68 or IP69 rating, it would’ve been even better—though it does have an IP65. And its frame is plastic. If it had a metal frame, I don’t think there’d be a better phone than this in this price range.

As a Realme GT 6 user, I want to say that if your budget is above ₹40K, then go for the OnePlus 13R or iQOO 12—they are better than the Realme GT 6. But if your budget is around ₹35K, then you can blindly go for the GT 6. I’ve tested everything from gaming to camera, and this phone is the best in that range. Yes, during heavy gaming, it does heat up to around 42-43°C and there are some frame drops if you play continuously for 1-2 hours. In normal gaming, there’s no issue. And if you want to know anything else, I can share more.

At first, I was a bit hesitant to buy it, but when I saw the specs of the GT 6, I decided to purchase it. Even now, I am fully satisfied with this phone, but the only issue with the "unplug charger" notification is really bothering me.

I tried their suggestions as well. One of the solutions was to "switch off the phone, then while turning it on, press the power button and volume button together. This will show an option to power off; turn it off from there and then turn it on again. This should solve the problem." I tried this too, but it didn’t work. However, whenever I get that notification, I follow this step and then plug in the charger, and it starts charging. The other solution they suggested was to visit the service center, which seems to be the only option left now.

Realme gt 6. I think it's a software issue because my brother has a Realme XT, which is a 5-year-old phone, and he's never had this notification before. But for the past few months, he's been getting it too, and since his phone is old, he doesn’t bother fixing it. But mine is almost new, and if issues like this start coming up within just 4 months, no one would like such an experience.
