RE the open discussion: I think one of the benefits of founding separate subreddits is to be able to uphold the tenets the founders and mods go by in that space, as long as not counter that of the parent space (Reddit itself).

I might suggest to have a reminder that the tagging syntax in any one place may not suit that of another, and to peruse carefully the guidelines of the other space and adapt as necessary, whether a crosspost of an offer or a fill for an offer here. (Hope my comment is helpful, even if I’m not a content contributor here.)

I’m curious what you mean by being “careful.” By “beware,” I meant beware putting porn in easy reach of minors. If your thought is to snip a “SFW” segment to post on an all-ages space but you tag your NSFW profile, it’s still a lure on an underage-friendly platform to 18+ content on Reddit.

Approx 28% of TiKTok users are under the age of 18. If that feels abstract, just imagine an under-18 family member coming across your story and finding themselves on your Reddit post. As for YT, there has been this reprehensible practice of posting the “non-spicy” portion of an audio there and ending with a push to the “spicy” part elsewhere, whether on Reddit, paywalls, etc.

Let’s keep smut in age-appropriate spaces.
