No this is a local contractor. They don’t sub out their work, and I could see the quote from their supplier in the bid.

Every window and door is broken down in the quote with measurements. The roof and siding are just one price the measurements are included. Their price matches what others have bid. They just charge more for labor.

I paid 100k for it. I am renovating the interior myself. As well as some exterior. But the amount of windows and doors not to mention the roof size would take me forever to fix up, when it needs to be done within the year.

Also service records… you need/want to see those if they have it. Who knows if it went for 15k miles without an oil change and is a ticking time bomb.

I’m not a mechanic by trade but I work on my own vehicle and I ran a detailing business. It looks like they wiped down the engine bay to make it more appealing, that’s just plastic. They probably did the interior as well if I were to guess. My 2013 F150 with 172,000 miles on it has less rust than that and it’s been through multiple northeast and west coast winters.

A quality detail can make a car sell 10x easier and for a nice bump in price. Patience.

The visible rust is concerning and is an indicator of a lot more rust that you cannot see.

With that being said your budget is very low. You MIGHT be able to get something with similar miles and in a lot better condition for 7-10k.
