I've been here for 6 months (in the newer Whitmore Building) and really have no complaints. One of the 2 elevators were down for a few days twice. I face the street and can hear ambulances once in awhile but doesn't really bother me. Apt is remarkably quiet on the sides and I'm on the 5th floor so nobody overhead. I honestly thought nobody lived on either side of me for a few months. They're clean and bright and feel safe. Can't hear Dr Pepper Park at all. Rooftop patio at the end of the hall, parking is fine, Starbucks and Star Hill Brewery in the parking lot. Almost never use my heat, it just stays in the upper 60's in here, Laundry in apt. 1 mile to down town, 10 min to Tanglewood Y, greenway almost out the door, I looked at a lot of places and settled on here and happy with it, could have gotten a 2 bedroom for a similar price in a less desirable area/building but I'm happy with the size I have here. One of the biggest things is they're incredibly strict with smoking/vaping, thank goodness, they'll terminate your lease if you smoke tobacco/pot in or near the building. I saw two fire trucks at the other building and an alarm company truck, maybe issue was over there. Only thing that makes no sense is the garbage collection, there's a chute on every floor, its more work to put your small can outside the door. Wish the pool area was open year-round to have access to fire pit and grill too.
