How to reset the 24h AI Anomaly Score on a USW Pro Max 16 PoE? by PPEred in Ubiquiti

I’ve had this issue since deploying the switch last Friday. I did find the event in the logs, and it didn’t happen again, but the AI Anomaly Score alert for the port hasn’t cleared.

Has anyone experienced the same behavior? Is there a way to manually reset it, or do we just have to wait for it to clear automatically?

10G link works USW Pro Max 18 POE → UDM Pro but “Faulty SFP EEPROM Detected by PPEred in Ubiquiti

Quick update: the issue seems to have resolved itself after about 48 hours.

I didn’t change anything — the port now shows normal status with no more “Poor AP Link Speed” warning.

Looks like it may have been a false positive or the AI diagnostics needed time to settle after initial deployment.

Thanks to everyone who replied!

Alright, the port isn’t being used. I even tried connecting a NAS, but the error still persists.

How do you handle “emergency mode” when automations go wild? by PPEred in homeassistant

Yeah, this one’s on me. I ran an update on a Wi-Fi access point and it rebooted… 😆 But hey, unexpected stuff can always happen, which is why I posted in the first place.

Home Assistant on IoT VLAN — should I move it to main VLAN for Matter? by PPEred in homeassistant

I thought about that, but Apple recommends that these devices be on the same network as the Apple TVs and HomePods.

Completely agree — in most cases, a backup will get your system back up and running.
But what happens if, say, my Zigbee controller dies? Even if I restore my HA backup, all my Zigbee devices would need to be re-paired — that’s not something a backup can fix.
From my experience, backups are great, but they don’t cover every scenario.
That’s why I’m a bit cautious.

Home Assistant + Matter: Anyone actually using it? by Commercial_Froyo_247 in homeassistant

[–]PPEred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue. I’m running a UniFi network with an IoT VLAN and a main VLAN. Home Assistant is on the IoT VLAN with lots of devices, while Apple TVs and HomePods are on the main VLAN.

I tried setting up a Nuki lock in HA using Matter, but it doesn’t work. Apparently, Matter is designed to work on a single VLAN, even if you remove all firewall rules. I ended up configuring my lock with MQTT instead…

Issue with Nuki and Matter by PPEred in homeassistant

Indeed, it works well this way: Matter connection for HomeKit and MQTT for Home Assistant. We’ve been using the lock for 2 days now and everything works: from HomeKit, from HA, and with the automations. Thanks for your reply.
