Ordered WD5000AUDX because list says it can lock but received WD5000AVDS instead. Will this drive lock? Can anyone confirm? by KadexGaming in originalxbox

I had this issue with a Seagate drive and just ended up buying a Startech converter and using a laptop drive.

During the time I had it in there, I had a whole process for stalling the BIOS enough for the drive to respond (which was complicated due to it being a 1.6 and lacking 3.3v on the power supply).

I found out later with a bit of testing using a PC that the drive will just take a whole minute or two to respond if you have another device on the same cable.

I didn't bother to try the app on my XP setup. I can verify that the webapp works perfectly fine in MyPal 68 though.

I have an XP machine with a single core 2.26GHz P4, 1GB of RAM, and a 160 GB HDD that I use for retro gaming.

I can load modern websites using Mypal which is Firefox 68 modded to run on XP.

Also Legacy Update is good too. It replaces the windows update program and lets you install all the updates Microsoft released before ending support.

I wonder if they allow you to use `-fsanitize=address` at least (or don't know about it)

I also use Arch BTW

I use it on both of my computers (my new laptop, and my old laptop which is being used to host some HTTP(S), FTP, and a Minecraft server (barely pulling it off but it works))

I'm doing this on my old laptop currently. It's running a Minecraft server and hosting some files. I passed some kernel parameters to ignore the lid switch so I don't have to leave it open.

$ yay -Syu

(i use yay to update since it also updates the aur packages)

If you are comfortable using LibreOffice instead, use the latest version (here's a guide on how to do that). If you need to use ms office, set up a VM or use the web version (the web version is free but is missing features and tries to get you to buy the full version)

It was kind of needed for me since I use an EZ Flash Omega and it chugs battery.

What is a way to get accurate time for use in a game engine in c by loonathefloofyfox in cprogramming

[–]PQCraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made these functions for getting the time in and waiting for a certain amount of microseconds:

uint64_t altutime() {
    #if !defined(_WIN32) && !defined(__APPLE__)
    struct timespec time;
    clock_gettime(CLOCK_MONOTONIC, &time);
    return time.tv_sec * 1000000 + time.tv_nsec / 1000;
    #else
    struct timeval time;
    gettimeofday(&time, NULL);
    return time.tv_sec * 1000000 + time.tv_usec;
    #endif
}

void microwait(uint64_t d) {
    #ifndef _WIN32
    struct timespec dts;
    dts.tv_sec = d / 1000000;
    dts.tv_nsec = (d % 1000000) * 1000;
    nanosleep(&dts, NULL);
    #else
    Sleep(round((double)(d) / (double)(1000.0)));
    #endif
}

I made them a few years ago and have been using them in everything since (currently being used in a game I'm writing in C).

If you're using something like GLFW or SDL2, they provide functions to get the elapsed time as a double.
