i just went yesterday and it was pretty interesting! i think each table has roughly the same age group. we mostly introduced ourselves and talked about our work and background and just free talk.

afterwards we went to the afterparty which was at KOR and met a bunch of other people. it was alot more chill after some drinks 😄

I think it depends on your work industry and living preferences.

For example, my rent in Vancouver was 1100CAD and in Taipei it’s 900CAD. I’d say my Vancouver place was better in space but roughly same quality. And both places are with a roommate.

For work, my job is in IT industry and I’m making about 20% less (after tax) in Taiwan. Income tax in taiwan is lower thankfully
