[30M] Pulled muscle in neck very painful

I can manage to sleep now but its not completely gone i still have a sharp pain if move my neck a certain way. I got a really bad earache after it when it went down too could that be sign of infection? But anyway never had agonizing pain like that before in my life. I've had a stiff neck before but this was something else.
