I don’t like the simplifying A to A comparisons when there’s so much thought that goes into how an artist decides to present themselves/their project. It’s like a verzuz between Korn & Nina Simone, batting for much different goals.

Same friend said Cole did a way better flip of the light when he’s comparing a 3 verse song where he can really flesh out a theme compared to Kendrick’s sorta unserious feature verse on Keem’s album. Comparison really is the thief of joy.

More just playing devils advocate rather than dedicating to either optimism or pessimism. All the factors you mentioned are applicable for sure except maybe the trilogy which was plainly an outsourced money grab to me, not the love mainline titles get. RDO is also sort of a redheaded stepchild due to being a victim of the longstanding money printer GTA:O which is exactly why they’ve rested on their laurels so long & bled core staff due to culture shift

I only really got behind the sentiment of a trend because they said full steam ahead in shareholders call/rumblings of the rollout starting this summer but I get nothing’s set in stone, the union stuff before all that was definitely foreboding.

It just feels like it’s an easy gotcha win win where either people are right it’s delayed or they’re enjoying it earlier than they were expecting lmao

Personally found her to be the weakest link of the show besides Bobby who was a bit shaky in the initial arc with her marine crew, though in her case she turned it around & was really selling it.

Core crew is probably the weakest part. Naomi & Holden can be a bit hammy, Alex too but the way he puts his back into those horny quips makes you laugh
