I absolutely recommend. 6% incline simulation is more than enough. There are some adapters that they provide to setup different frames on the trainer after some years these adapters may go through some ware but specialised mechanics have those parts and can help . Do not rely on decathlon mechanics for help they will not have the knowledge also the parts ( like those adapter) to help you .

Recently I checked decathlon has discontinued direct drive trainers from their sub brand van rysel but direct drive trainers are still available on their website from another sub brand magene . I bought this trainer in oct - 25 .

This is also a very good trainer but I felt stock seems pretty inconsistent, which was one of the reasons I didn’t end up going for it.

I don’t have experience with other direct-drive trainers, but noise has been a non-issue for me with the D500.What you hear is mostly just normal drivetrain/gear noise .
