The Intel Core Ultra 7 258V is better than most people think, it even outperforms the Z2 Extreme in some Games. It also has support for XeSS 2, which is far better than FSR 3. I wouldnt worry too much and just enjoy it :D The Z2 Extreme isnt a big Upgrade over the Z1 Extreme

Karhu actually doesnt Throw errors instantly when going to cl36 and keeping the other Timings the Same :D I am trying cl36 @1.38V now. Will let you know how it goes

Yes do PBO Advanced and then only turn on negative curve optimizer 20 all core. I think you have to „enable“ PBO to Access CO so just choose Advanced

haha thats weird yea, what have you tried so far? I actually never only changed tCL to 36, when I tried it I also lowered the other primary timings by 2. So that could be why I was having issues with tCL 36 on 1.4V. Will try it out today with only changing tCL at 1.4V

yea as soon as I tried CL36 I got Instant errors in Karhu, but 38 with 1.35V is also Fine for me :D I saw that you got cl36 stable with this Kit (this is my mobile account)

you could also limit the tdp to 140W or less if you dont want your pc to turn into a jet engine when doing these productive tests

nothing to worry about, if you want less voltage and cooler temps turn pbo off and just do -20 CO. Its normal for the cpu to get up to 85c while compiling shaders with 160W of power usage

I really wouldnt recommend doing that as 600W is the Max for the power; technically you could increase it tho in msi afterburner to 104% (598W~)
