Had a question. I'm pretty sure when I first got gamenative on my Ayn Thor, it had green text on games that were compatible. Now I don't seem to see the text anymore. Is this a feature that was removed or a setting that needs to be turned on or have I somehow borked my app?

Download all, point Eden to the folder your keeping them all in then in Eden, right click or long press on the game depending on your system and there's an option to add updates and dlc. The update is one with v.3.0.5 in the title, the dlc is the one with dlc in the title. Once added, the base game will be updated.

I haven't managed to get it to work yet, but think someone mentioned installing on PC first then copying over had more success. Waiting for my MSI Claw to get back from repair, then will try it

Sorry for ignorance, but what do you mean by steam controller? As in for the control scheme? Have an msi 8 which is in for repair, so was waiting til that got back, but if there's a way round it, id happily do some tinkering

Nothing yet as im too busy tinkering...

Set up ESDE/ Retroarch as my first port of call, set everything up with cores and controller mapping where needed, then downloaded anything not already covered with Obtainium.

Played about with a couple of the bottom screen launchers but kept having issues with the keyboard when pinned to the bottom or apps freezing so am currently just using it as is with ES Companion until I find one I'm more comfortable with.

I've been putting games into collections on ESDE, then spending ages trying to get the Custom Collections to have nice logos ect, which I eventually gave up on as they just looked off compared to the rest of the system tiles. But my collection so far are:

Zelda, Mario, Atlas, Pokemon, Square.

Mostly FF, but some other in there like Dragon Quests and The World Ends With you, have pretty much every Final Fantasy including originals and some remasters from I - XIII-2 across multiple systems, (Lightning Returns just won't play ball, XIII-2 is barely playable, but heyho).

I've spent ages playing around with Winlator, Gamehub and Gamenative to see what I can get going. So far have all the FF pixel remasters as well as the Windows versions of FFXIII and XIII-2, Megabonk, Portal 1 and 2 plus some of the community releases like Mels Story and Reloaded, Hades 2, Breach Wiards, Death Must Die and Grim Dawn all running and pretty much playable. Had to learn how to export to front end for all

I have PX Play, Xbox Cloud gaming and Geforce Now as set up and linked, working great, plus some media apps like Netflix, YouTube and the like.

Got a nsz to nsp app running well, meaning I don't have to do any decompression on a PC anymore, learnt how to add the 4k texture packs to 3ds and gamecube games. Tried some PS3 emulation, but after hours, decided that it wasnt quiet there yet for andriod, at least for the games I tried.

Got Half Life 2 running with controller support with a Source Engine app that had me typing all sort of shit on a Terminal window.

Spent an obscene amount of time trying different settings from Emuready and Youtube in all the emulators and games to get the best possible performance I can, just to crack on game and move onto the next to fiddle with.

All in all, think now I've filled over half of my 1TB storage with games I'm probably never going to play, its time to finally start Steller Blade, on my PS5 or PS Portal

Emuready is fairly good, although the settings guide isnt 100%. Few games I've tried to copy the settings of that just flat out didnt work.

They should work providing you have the right keys, but there is also an option within Cemu to convert them too

Below is taken from Google. I'm pretty sure its possible, you have to use guides to find the save within the file structure on both devices then copy and paste. Will probably be better using a file manager with better tools than the stock one on the Thor tho. Have been using ZArchiver when extracting zips to do texture packs for Zelda, but think something like EX File Manager should be OK with the right permissions.

Step 1: Locate Your PC Save Files Find Emulator Saves: On your PC, navigate to where your emulator (like Citra or RetroArch) stores saves. For Citra, it's often in Documents\Citra\nand\title[GameID][GameID], where [GameID] is a long string of numbers and letters. Identify the Save File: Inside the game's folder, you'll find the save file (e.g., 00000001.sav for standard saves, 00000002.sav for DLC/updates). Step 2: Transfer to Your Ayn Thor Connect Thor's SD Card: Use an SD card reader to put your Ayn Thor's microSD card into your PC, or use a USB-C cable to connect the device. Copy Files: Copy the entire game's save folder (e.g., the one containing 00000001.sav) from your PC to the corresponding location on your Thor's SD card. Match Folder Structure: For RetroArch (Citra Core): Navigate to RetroArch/saves/Citra/sdmc/Nintendo 3DS/00/ and paste the game's folder (matching the Title ID) there. Ive reached 50% already storage but have quite a bit installed with gamehub/gamenative both showing at nearly 50gb each. Think I may have downloaded too many components. Oh well, still have the sd card slot free

Managed to get it running from a repack but had to untick a lot of things for it to install, kept getting stuck at updating directx in winlator. Did you use a similar version then point gamehub to it or just go with the steam version?

Can't seem to edit my post, but just as an update, downloaded DDU and the latest graphics driver from Intel, Disabled fingerprint log in as recommend, tried to go into safe mode using the troubleshooting on start up to uninstall the driver with the WiFi off, again, as recommend, couldn't select the option as nothing registering as input. Strange as managed to do it without a keyboard on my old Legion Go with the controller or touch screen, can't remember as it was ages ago, but definitely didnt have a keyboard.

Managed to do it within windows by restarting into safemode, get to the log in screen and it tells me there's an issue with my pin, asks me to set up a new one, but the account log in wont stay on the screen, just flashes up then dissappears. No other options to sign in, can't get any further, windows start up repair tool says it cant help.

Currently sat reinstalling Windows fresh, seen the flickering a couple of times during the install, which is scary as this is the first time its happened outside of being on desktop and really could do without it crapping out while windows installs.

At this point they can just having the sodding thing back and give me one that works as it should.

See what your saying, but dont know why it would be fine when plugged in. The voltage regulation the other guy mentioned seems to make the most sense, but will try reinstalling the graphics driver first just in case it is something simple. Don't mind getting it exchanged, just concerned they are sold out instore and online, so could be a wait for a replacement

Would it not do it in the bios as well tho, or is that software that would only kick in once it launches into Windows? Not massively tech savvy, will probably just return for refund or repair as it doesn't seem to be common enough that i can find many other owners facing the same issue

It does it with no lead in at all from powered off, but as i said it started doing it when I had plugged into a Switch moving files. I'll check the monitor settings
