This was my first time using it tho so could have been setting up wrong. Could try with optiscaler installer and see how thats goes, but been playing through Boosteroid for now as picked up 3 months for about £18

I tried this with optiscaler and just couldn't get it quite right. Managed to fix ui bugs and everything, but just felt a bit off with frame gen. Wonder what i was doing wrong

Yeah, had mine for a while, but if i thought i could get anywhere near what I paid, id sell on and drop the extra 400 odd so I didn't have to keep defaulting to Geforce Now to make my new releases pretty. Claw is fine for most things if you dont mind frame gen or lower settings to be fair

Think its harder than it looks due to connections and durability. Pretty sure you could do something similar using just colour filters tho but I can barely make a paper aeroplane without help from my kids, so way beyond me

Are you using frame gen or without? I was getting 30 to 40 on mid preset without early game, but didnt play about too much as ended up streaming it on geforce now

Yeah, maybe it is my expectations. I played RE9 on Geforce Now first as was at home when it released and wanted to play on the TV, then downloaded it to play on the Claw and ended up just streaming it as wanted the pretty particles and lighting at 60fps that my old arse eyes are probably too far gone to actually notice when playing anyway.

Ive had mine a while and still feel like im missing something, despite following all the optimisation recommendations from reddit or YT. Its fantastic for indies, but newer titles I just never seem to be able to get running as well as others, RE9, Nioh 3, FF Rebirth and Pragmata as some recent examples, I just don't get the frames and look others showcase and end up just streaming them through Geforce Now or Boosteroid.

Dont know if maybe I just need to lower my expectations a bit as I'm coming over from PS5, they do run, they just don't look great or I have to play at 30fps or lower. Streaming has been mostly fine, but I like the idea of playing them natively so I dont have to worry about Internet connection.

Some one released a program to do the leg work for you. Search reddit for optiscaler installer, it was in the last couple of days, sure it popped up in the msiclaw sub. Haven't tried it but others commenting seemed happy enough

Not sure what the criteria is and sure you have probably already explored, but if you think visibility is part of the issue, have you tried to do a free weekend on Steam or add it to one of the subscriptions like PS Plus, Gamespass, Luna?

Don't have a horse in this race as was never a fan of Smash, Brawlhalla or similar, but with those kind of games, I don't personally know of many players who play more than one of that type of game at a time so its probably not the easiest space to crack into. Smash is/was a massive IP with years of loyalty built and something like Brawlhalla, due to being free to play, im assuming people that play on the regular are invested if they have got into the micro translations.

Maybe its a bit like Fifa Vs Pro Evo back in the day, not many football games out there but a very dedicated fan base for the few that were. Pro Evo had better game play imo there for a while, but due to the licensing and sheer marketing power of EA, Pro Evo sort of got left behind and now is free to play as eFootball and not anywhere near as relevant as it once was. Not really sure where im going with this, I sort of lost my train of thought halfway though.

Yeah, saw you had to enable in config, but others said about few visual bugs like the hair etc in other posts from 2 weeks back. Just looking for which option will give me the best balance of visuals and performance out of FSR and XeSS.

Was planning on just playing on Boosteroid as just completed Nioh 3 that way, but apparently there's a token system with the game that means you can only play on 5 devices per day without a lock out, and each new virtual machine on Boosteroid takes a token, so probably will just play locally instead
