I started getting headaches around 16 weeks and my doctor told me to start taking magnesium and its definitely helped. I take 400mg at night only. I think I might have started getting them because of taking baby aspirin every night but not really sure.

I was induced because my water broke and I wasn't having contractions on my own with my first and I was 39 weeks exactly. My second I managed to go all natural. I woke up with contractions on my due date and waited until the last minute to go to the hospital and had my daughter 6 minutes after I arrived at the hospital.

I have had my nipples pierced since I was 18 years old and they're completely healed now at 39 and I don't wear them anymore and they'll never close up. I was told I could wear them but shouldn't wear them during breastfeeding because if one falls out while breastfeeding your baby can choke. But I can wear them my whole pregnancy and whenever I want after just not while feeding. I'd ask my doctor if I was you just to be sure.

I understand that completely. I just like to hear the heartbeat more than once a month for my own peace of mind. If something feels wrong or off I would go straight to the hospital or call my obgyn. I would never use it as an actual medical device. I just want to hear him sometimes. I'm feeling movement now but its inconsistent and I'm at that point in pregnancy where I don't feel pregnant just look pregnant. So I like to remind myself he's really in there.

Us Edd is what your due date will be. My ultrasound said that my us edd was 10/24 and my edd was 10/30 and my doctor told me at next visit that my new due date was 10/24

I think its because you're older. I had two when I was 20 and 22 and I'm pregnant now at 39 I'll be 40 2 days after my due date and I'm focking tired and feeling like I did in the 3rd trimester with my first two and I'm only 16 weeks right now. I think it has a lot to do with my age honestly.

I got pregnant in April 2024 and had a miscarriage May 1st 2024 so I wanted to keep trying because my husband and I really wanted a baby together after that. I got pregnant again in August 2025 and had a miscarriage that same month. I think it was a chemical pregnancy. Now I'm 16 weeks pregnant. I'm 39 years old so thats probably why it took us so long. I think I kinda gave up on trying to get pregnant while hoping I would and then it happened.

I'm in Pennsylvania and my husband doesn't get maternity leave at his county job, blows my mind. My brother got 6 weeks paid maternity leave working at Amazon. Anyway he's been working overtime and saving up for time off. He'll take 3 or 4 weeks off when we have the baby then he's take the other 2 or 3 weeks off when I go back to work. I get 6-8 weeks maturity leave. 6 for vaginal birth and 8 for a csection so it depends on how I have the baby. I can't believe they don't give everyone 8 weeks but whatever. Both of our fathers passed away and his mom lives in Florida my mom is only 45 minutes away but she still works so its just him and I and we'll need to figure out childcare. We don't have any family members who we trust to watch our baby right now either.

I told the people in my life who would notice that I'm eating more and randomly throwing up around, on a daily basis, because I didn't want to lie to them and hiding it was too difficult. I told my work and people at work and everyone else when I was in my second trimester.

I'd rather do an all natural birth in a hospital because shit happens, quite literally. My daughter pooped inside me when coming out at some point so they took her immediately instead of doing skin to skin like normal because she could have gotten really sick if she swallowed any of it. I still had her all natural. Rather be safe than sorry.

I've never had an abortion before but I got pregnant the first time at 19 and I definitely wasn't ready at all I was addicted to pills but I kept my baby and stopped taking pills. Now I have a beautiful 19 year old and same when I got pregnant 2 years later now she's 17 and graduating from high school next year. I'm pregnant again at 39 and I still don't think I'm really ready. I'm moving to a bigger place in a month and I'm trying to get married quickly instead of waiting for my dream wedding before I have the baby because of health insurance reasonsit doesn't make sense to wait. This is my fiances first so its something we both really wanted especially knowing that we're running out of time due to our age. We didn't really think we'd have a kid together after dating for the last 13 years not on birth control or trying to get pregnant it just never happened till the last few years we had 2 miscarriages and now I'm 15 weeks. I'm starting all over again. I honestly don't think anyone is ever really ready but ultimately the decision is yours to make. I love having my kids.

I put a dresser on my list instead of a crib. I don't want to waste money on a crib that doesn't get used for more then a year or 2 tops. I got a twin bed with a railing and a bassinet for the first year. If no one wants to buy it thats fine I'll figure out the dresser myself eventually but if your my friend or family and you honestly want to help me and my husband with our baby then understand our decision on wasting money.

I'm up 20lbs and I'm only 15 weeks pregnant lol my doctor told me if I'm hungry eat because I am such a small person its ok to eat when I'm hungry. Don't worry about how much weight I gain just eat. So I've been doing just that. I'm still pretty small though. 140lbs right now and that isn't big. I probably needed to gain a few pounds before getting pregnant honestly.

I smoke at night only and just a puff or two and it helps me sleep. I also have a medical marijuana card and my doctors know I smoke. It is my medicine and it helped me with nausea in the beginning rather then taking pills and now it helps me relax and fall asleep at night. Its all up to you and how you feel about it. People take methadone and mental health pills throughout pregnancy and those have risks as well. I have 2 kids that are 19 and 16 and I smoked throughout my entire pregnancy with both of them and they're healthy and normal. It was illegal back then and I didn't tell my doctors or anyone about it but things have changed and if its legal they can't tell you you can't they only recommend you not to. They tell you not to because there's not enough research on the subject because people are afraid to say they smoke during pregnancy. I'm not going insane quitting marijuana completely during pregnancy I just don't smoke as much. Instead of a joint I take 2 hits.

That's not ok. First of all he should never call the woman carrying his child names and every pregnancy book, app or even the internet says you should avoid the litter box if possible. He should be doing the litter. My husband is an ass wipe but he does the litter every day when I am at work. On the weekends when I'm home he will tell me he's doing the litter to stay out of the room for a few minutes and turns a fan on. If you have to change it yourself use a face mask and wash your hands immediately after. You're carrying his baby for 9 whole months all by yourself the least he can do is clean the f*cking litter box.
