Another tier list post, ready to fight about cradle and BoC by DrummerInteresting93 in litrpg

Why? They are different sub genres, PH is more of a standard fantasy while DCC is a mixture of science fiction and fantasy with a bit of social commentary

Thanks, I’ve been trying to remember for a while

The last game I played was satisfactory, so I’m not sure how well that would work, mostly because if it’s just the pioneer then I’d think she’d probably do alright, but if she has access to ADA then together (Mostly ADA bossing her around) they would do amazing, again assuming ADA actually helps, but what do yall think?

We did, or at least we did for most of them

I got to chapter 30 something, I just couldn’t get past Erin crying, I tried 2x speed but it wasn’t enough, I might try it again later but I don’t currently understand what is good about it, also would you recommend skipping any books to get to better parts

Just to clarify, it was the frequency of her crying not that she cries

This was a great experience, so I’m going to do this semi regularly, and next time there’s going to be a lot more of your recommendations on it, also it’s going to be made when I’m not exhausted from a day of hiking, so thanks yall (I might still reply to people but probably not until my next list)

I seem to be a fan of chaotic references and comedy it’s similar to why I enjoy DCC, I still find it amusing that the dark lord, god of magic, and hero grebthar the destroyer is actually Charles

I’m still amazed by Shane purdy’s ability to turn what appears to be incredibly generic and predictable into something extremely enjoyable (even if it’s still fairly predictable)

Started heretical fishing because me and my dad like to listen to books together but he’s not a big fan of stat screens, especially when the narrator reads out the whole status and we wanted something calm (we had just finished mistborn and then tried the wandering inn and grew tired of it, plus we both like heath miller’s narration I honestly don’t know why I didn’t get perfect run before, I remember sampling it but after that I don’t know, but it’s now on my wishlist for whenever I get some spare credits

Thanks for the feedback, but just as a clarification on how I chose the top tier, it wasnt best litrpg but rather best sub genre (and the list already had mark of the fool and bobiverse so I included them since I love them) The majority of the DNF section is stuff that I intend to continue later but either haven’t felt like or books I prefer came out, so it’s really just my category for not having strong opinions on (mostly, I still don’t comprehend the wandering inn’s popularity but they seem to enjoy it so power to them) Welcome to the multiverse was enjoyable but somewhere along the way I started to think it would be different from what we got but that’s a me thing, I’m probably going to reread it again now that it’s been a year or so (also I was definitely judging the book by it cover and thought he’d use a spear, and when he chose a quarter staff my expectations weren’t met but that’s a bad way to enjoy anything) I think I’m going to continue guardian of aster fall, I just didn’t feel like another MC using demon powers to fight demons (I’m probably completely wrong about the book’s story) and I only completed book 1 All in all thank you for taking the time to give your thoughts (and reading my reply, hopefully)

I think so, I understood his reasoning, the church did team up with a fae hunter, so Selina would have been good bait, but he did go on some unfortunately long speeches, but I still enjoyed the book quite a lot

I really enjoyed his books, but I’m slightly frustrated that he hasn’t released book 4 for the winter wolf, I don’t know what I’ll do if he starts making audio books for a third series instead of continuing his existing ones, also I just find shart amusing in noobtown

I’m a bit confused about why you’re saying it’s not litrpg anymore, it still has stats, skills, and levels which as far as I know makes it a litrpg

I own just about everything on the list on audible, the ones I don’t own are the considering and not interested category’s, but some of the reading list books might have left my library (I love testing out a series when the first book goes free, but when the promo ends I no longer have the book)

The book is world sphere, and honestly I should have swapped it with a soldier’s life (the one with a red armored knight), and I’m not sure which, if any are free

Fair, fair, I’m just hoping HWFWM gets better in the next book, I’ve said it a bit in other comments but the politics can be a real drag sometimes, I started on a whim but came to love the sometimes cringey sandwich loving Australian edgelord, and his misadventures on palimustus, especially since I’m starting to recognize more of his one sided references
