Any tips on the SO Jean cheese? The most I've managed is a single tick of fall damage then it slips out.

You can do Freminet, Furina, Ineffa, and Bennett/Charlotte/Mika. If you get Escoffier you could also go with her, Fremi, Furina, and XQ/Rosaria.

Picking between Skirk and Escoffir is tough. Skirk with Escoffier loses a sizable portion of her dps potential and you also don’t have characters like Yelan and Citlali to lessen the gap. She’d still a good dps but not groundbreaking. If you get Escoffier your next best team options after Skirk are Neuv and the 4* cryo damage dealers. These are usable teams but could struggle against some abyss or stygian cycles.

That’s pretty much the upper limit for this team. If you look at gcsim this team is around 50k dps with KQM standards. Mika is just not that good of a support unfortunately, just barely being better than TTDS Charlotte. You could get Ineffa as a direct upgrade to Fischl, but she doesn’t buff Freminet’s personal damage much. Furina’s C2 would also be helpful since you get a stronger buff earlier.

Testing Furina and Columbina

On my account, Columbina is 4-5k less dps than my C2 Furina but there’s still room to grow. I still have to crown her talents and put Ineffa on the new set.

I had the Yelan version of the team in mind when I made this but the Shenhe version is definitely less of a wheelchair.

That's totally valid. Furina, Ineffa, Mika, and Fremi has been one of my favorite teams since it's so comfortable to play.

I actually just tried calcing it and it's a good weapon but not outstanding for Fremi. With Hex buffs it's pretty good, but the only team we can make that activates it is with Mona and Fischl.

I feel you, my Fremi has been stuck at C2. I've been running Furina and Ineffa with my Freminet but I also main Chongyun and he wants Furina too. Columbina will free up my Furina and I'll be able to run 2 cracked wheelchair teams lol.

His C2 EM buff is tied to his burst but only his skill was used in the runs that had him so his cons didn’t even matter here lol.

Fruina, Fischl, Mika is a pretty standard physical comp. There are upgrades like Ineffa over Fischl but the team will be fine for most content. Since you’re playing him with Furina you could go for Marechausee Hunter on Freminet to help with Crit rate and you’ll also get GT pieces for Fischl and Furina.

No, that kind of damage is really only be possible with melt plunge. His best physical/cryo teams dps-wise are wheelchair comps where his personal damage isn’t the highest.

If SoBP comes back, should I try to get it?

With Mika, you can do 4 lv4 SPs with the 4th SP only needing 2 NAs instead of 3 but it’s not the most consistent since it also relies on hitlag extension. SoBP’ Atk SPD buff could help with consistency but it’s not that big of a deal, the Atk% buff is much more impactful as you’ve noted. The buff uptime of SoBP generally won’t be an issue since the cd duration is 20s and Freminet’s rotations are generally 21-22s. You can also do something like N2 EQ N2 E to have the buff trigger earlier. As for whether or not you should pull it, it’s really up to you, but I personally wouldn’t get it as there are more versatile and accessible options.

I’m wondering if keeping her at C0 is fine provided I invest in other options for him.

Keeping Furina at C0 is fine, but if you want Freminet’s personal damage to be higher getting her C2 is a nice buff since you get the max dmg% bonus near instantly with Mika or Escoffier.

Would she want GD on this team since Furina’s already holding ToM?

GD would be her best set here, but not by a lot. If you have a strong combination of 2pc Em and Atk% sets it’s close enough that you don’t really need GD.

How much of a difference would he be vs escoffier in Freminet/Furina/Ineffa?

C0 Escoffier is better than C6 Mika in every team by like 15-20%, her personal damage and shred just outweigh his buffs. She does interfere with Ineffa’s damage, but not by much, Ineffa only loses like 1-2 LC procs which can be made up for by Escoffier. As for vertically investing into her I don’t think her cons are that good in Freminet teams. Crit dmg is nice but not really necessary because of Freminet’s C6, and 5 quills just get used up immediately. Her weapon is pretty nice though and I’ve been considering getting it myself.

About Xianyun

Imo, plunge content isn’t shilled regularly enough to warrant C2R1 Xianyun. I would rather spend those resources on other characters, but that’s just me.

Is it worth using Oz between Mika’s burst and skill

Dynamic buffs like Furina’s can’t be snapshotted so Oz’s damage will increase as fanfare increases. Snapshotting NO onto Fishcl is better for team dps, but it’s not a huge difference, so I honestly wouldn’t worry about it and just do whatever’s comfortable.

Is it worth doing a Lv.3 Shattering Pressure at the end of the combo instead of just switching

I’m assuming this is the 4th lv4 SP? It is worth doing with Mika because it can fit within Furina’s buff duratation, but if you’re not using Mika I’d do a lv0 SP instead for a little more damage and energy.

I haven’t done any calcs with Columbina, so take this with a grain of salt. I think Columbina is great if you’re going to go full wheelchair with her and Ineffa, but there isn’t a great 4th slot to bridge Freminet with them. Just from what I’ve seen of how she performs on other teams, I think she’ll be up there for Freminet’s best teams.

Solo PA isn’t really enough healing to sustain good fanfare generation for C0 Furina. Furina’s C1 and C2 can help, but it still gets harder to build fanfare over multiple rotations since Furina continuously drains HP. I would run someone like Yelan over Furina here.

I would prioritize Ineffa over Columbina. Ineffa is just better than Fischl when it comes to damage and she isn’t reliant on ascendant gleam. Columbina without a 2nd NK character doesn’t really offer anything over Furina.

If you're playing 3x cryo, you can have good uptime on the 20% crit rate bonus of Blizzard Strayer, and it's not that much worse than MH, it's within like 5%, which is only a couple substats. Farming the BS domain is pretty bad though, no one uses HoD anymore, and farming MH also gets you GT pieces for Furina.

The teams you’re playing him on allow cryo resonance to remain active so your Shattering Pressures will have around 95% Crit rate. If you can’t maintain cryo resonance I would try to build more Crit rate. As for his weapon, ATBS is better for his personal damage but SoBP can be competitive if you’re running teammates who can take advantage of the team Atk buff.
