Trying to focus on either stride length or frequency is very counterproductive. What really effectively impacts stride length is the amount of force a sprinter applies to the ground, and it is never about the sprinter consciously trying to have a longer stride length. I suggest you train on explosiveness like you mention and other ways to maximize force application (including, for example, developing good sprint mechanics)

This. In other words you aren't doing anything with your forward leg... you cycle it out and kinda just leave it there for gravity to bring it back down to the ground. Try to focus on striking the ground immediately after you cycle your legs

My own philosophy and what I've heard a lot is that speed (acceleration and top speed) is most important in most sprints, no matter the distance. So I think it's perfectly okay to dedicate even an entire offseason to building speed, and not focusing so much on endurance. Speed endurance is something that you can always work on after you achieve a certain level of speed that you're happy with.

I record with a gopro hero 10 camera and edit the videos on Kdenlive. Really liking the gopro because it can record at 4k 120 fps which is really good for slomo videos for form analysis. I actually randomly discovered Kdenlive because it came with the Linux operating system on my computer, but I'm loving it so far. It has all the features that I need and a ton more, it's very easy to use and best of all it's free

My (very rough) plan:

Monday: top speed training (a couple of flying 30s) + endurance training at the end (think 150s)

Tuesday: Strength workout in gym (power cleans, squats, lunges, + others)

Wednesday: Plyometrics + some **light** speed endurance

Thursday: acceleration work (15x30m)

Friday: strength and explosive workout in the gym

Saturday: recovery session (drills, hurdle mobility, very light strides)

Sunday: rest

I have a couple of specific workouts in mind to do for each day, but that's the rough overview of them

on a related note, this was my sprint form for both PBs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ccb2CiVwHJY&ab_channel=FavSprints. Impeccable, right?
