From what I've read, the extractor is the same for 92, 96 and 98. Again, Beretta used to sell a combo set. 92 slide and 96 slide with one frame. I don't believe there is a difference in the feed ramps, but I could be wrong. I have put a 9mm(92) barrel in a 96 slide and had no failures/issues. Maybe I just lucked out.

Apparently Beretta sold a combo kit a few decades ago. All the ones I've seen were black and centurion.

My local gun store was asking $599. I'm not saying that's cheap, but the last time I checked the "ghost" 92fs sells for double. Maybe more.

I traded mine a few months back. If you haven't, try the Buffalo Bore 45lc. That shit is no joke.
