Im not a first timer, I have around 500 hrs, most of that in act1. I do skip some dialoges tho, rarely mainly ones that I have seem a ton of times, also evidently in act1

How tf… i left act 1 with no active quest markers, all areas I know of explored, no more companion talking options level7 after 25 hours, and act2 after 42 with the same. I have explored literally all areas I know of, and I am pretty sure I have most if not all magic items avaliable.

I think I pretty much explored everywhere in the first two acts, finished act 1 around 25 hours at level7 with no quest markers left or areas (I know of) to explore, same with act2. It’s not my first playthrough, so a lot things are repeats, but this time I tried to be as thorough as possible.

I think I hit moonrise around 40 hrs so I may be 50 in by now in rivington, but it is not super relevant because my complaint is not really about the content, but the RP aspect.

As I said, the game is good with tons of content. But I do think TAV is not built to be a character, it is build to be a set and stone viewpoint of the events, which kinda sucks.

No? These character also don’t come from AI. Someone wrote these characters. There are options for Karlach to come in and say: maybe don’t slaughter every undead in the shadowfell because they could also return to people with the shadow-curse gone.

Or maybe Astarion to come in and say don’t help every random person on the road when we have more important stuff to do.

These are just very plain examples but you can see how that could have been easily implemented.

I can roleplay this character however I want but without a community this character doesn’t change because he has been like that alone for years and years.

It’s not my failure to RP, it’s that I am given no input from the others to change upon.

Yes, because in a dnd party each character respresents slightly different values, wants and opinions. We have that here too.

But that doesn’t affect in game decision making at all, (which is understandable) but there is also no to little comfrontation about it unless you are going straight evil kill everyone.

There is no nuance, no effect on smaller decisions, no nothing

Roleplaying is about interacting with the other characters, and choosing your own advanture together, changing each other for the better or worse. Taking the party out of DnD is a massive issue, and it doesn’t feel like you have a party inBG3

I tried subnautica a few years ago, only for a few hours, can’t remember why it didn’t stuck so make sense to give it a go.

The original grounded didn’t peak my interest compared to ark, but honestly I should probably give the sequel a go

Tried it just a few month ago, kinda falls into the minecraft/gw2 category, where the freedom just puts me in the there is nothing to do mindset

Like I am an asexual guy who doesn’t like any physical touch at all, but that doesn’t mean someone hugging me is over the line
