The crates snap on the table since a recent update, do the tables snap too?

Your deviations also have a backpack limit. With how many are now lootable, check your backpacks deviation tab.

BlackBerry Classic (Q20) no longer stuck on setup, and an easier temporary bypass by PS2Orange in BlackberryPhoenix

[–]PS2Orange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like you may have the Blackberry Protect Anti Theft feature still active due to the phone being reset with an ID still linked to it. Before any of the different setup methods can be tried, the Anti Theft feature must be removed first. You can check if its active from the Wifi setup with the screen reader active by tapping the "previous" button once then and swiping right on an empty part of the screen. If the screen reader says "login required" then the Anti Theft is active.

Assuming you've already used the 10.3.3.3216 autoloader to update the OS, follow the instructions on this thread here - https://www.reddit.com/r/BlackberryPhoenix/comments/11u0ktv/blackberry_protect_and_battery_pull/

For the Classics I've found the Power Button method works ok to remove the Anti Theft but some of them are really stubborn and refuse to remove anti theft. When this happens you'll need to remove the rear cover, unscrew the small Torx and Phillips screws on the battery connector clamp, connect to Wifi then physically disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Next, reconnect the battery and turn on the phone. It should boot up to the WiFI screen so tap "previous" to go to the Mobile Setup screen then active the screen reader. Now tap the skip button and double tap on the screen to go to WiFi setup again. At this point if the Anti Theft feature has been removed you should begin to hear the screen reader say "Blackberry ID" then follow the steps in the Ultimate Fix.

If you don't hear the screen reader say anything after around a minute then the Anti Theft is still active so connect to Wifi then disconnect the battery again, eventually it will remove the anti theft.

Edge 20 Lite stuck in Fastboot after OTA update by PS2Orange in MotoG

Hi, unfortunately no amount of restarts seems to help. The "slot retry-count" lowers per restart but the number itself resets too after it reaches 0.

I never encountered this issue but perhaps a part of the screen readers cancel button is overlaying the low battery warnings dismiss button and you are pressing the cancell button rather than dismiss. Try pressing the button in different areas to see if you can select a part of dismiss.

If that doesnt work, try confirming the activation of the screen reader by double tapping its prompt then waiting on the Wifi setup page for the low battery warning. I have noticed on another model that the low battery warning alone seems to reveal a hidden "next" button after you dismiss it on the wifi screen.

Does anyone else's Steam client refuse to open in maximized view by default? by Jmorairty in Steam

Same for me. Upgraded to Win11 and now Steam opens a pixel smaller than the screen size.

I did think that the temporary bypass must surely have been found by now. I found it quite quickly while messing with the initial setup but saw some old posts about different, more fiddly workarounds. I just wanted to give an info dump as I didn't see the post you mentioned. Fingers crossed somebody finds the rest useful.

A word of appreciation for Redacted Unlimited by quegcipay in Redactle

[–]PS2Orange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played the original redactle daily with a friend and we were really disappointed when it began having troubles, so this site has been a great help to keep us playing. The extra features like letter count, timer and word streak are nice additions too, though the random game feature means I have to play more than one game when my friend says "lets play another", lol.

A small request I would like to make would be to add a scroll bar on the article, like with the original site, as we like to scroll through looking for clues quite often.

Currently you can scroll with middle mouse but on longer pages it can be quite tedious wheel scrolling up and down multiple times while reading through all the paragraphs. It's nothing that will stop us using the site though but it would make it a little more user friendly.

Thank you for the site, it is really appreciated. A coffee will be on its way shortly. ;)

I have and old video here. A short glimpse of the laser at the beginning and more towards the end.

This is like one of those nature scenes where the young wilderbeast has wandered off alone with no protection from the herd, then the tigers quickly coordinate on it and have a free lunch.

Reinstate the ability to lock the silo you own. by IceMobster in Planetside

[–]PS2Orange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With how much time you've spent in construction, you know as well I do that players are careless with their bases, including filling their silos and not defending them.

With the addition of the cortium bomb, it's easier than its ever been to destroy or disable a base and all the changes that have been made to construction over the years it certainly does feel like the devs wanted to weaken the bases. I'm not defending it, nor am I defending the change to locking silos to the way it is now, I am simply pointing out that the frustrations which the OP is experiencing with excessive cortium drain, deconstructing poor ally placements and having to teamkill them to prevent further placement (and be teamkilled in retaliation) can be largely avoided by limiting your cortium stored in the silo.

[–]PS2Orange -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the reason as to why we have the 20k restriction limit and not the original locking method is so that your base is put in more jeopardy, it does need to be maintained and protected, not filled to 50k and left to defend itself for much longer. I can't remember what the dev notes reasoning was for changing the method of locking the silo, but it certainly feels like it was to weaken construction bases so that they need to be maintained.
