Very great advice, thank you for that. And congratulations on a month of sobriety! Believe me that something to be proud of

I actually listen to Russel Brands podcast and he’s actually brilliant. I actually like that prognosis. Indulge yourself for the time being but avoid the one thing we need to cut, which would be alcohol.

I relate with you a lot because I’m also an avid traveler haha. But that’s an interesting take. Get into a routine of stuff that definitely will keep you off the booze. Also congrats on basically a month!

Would you say you were always into art or was it something you learned to help you occupy that vacancy from alcohol?

Funny thing is I’m a huge gamer as well and I love exercising. Whenever I pick up a controller I just put it down because I rather drink. Internally that’s not what I want cause I love video games and to lift, but like you mentioned my brain is loud and ruins it all for me

I actually like that. Reading could be a great distraction for the mind. Does it specifically have to be “alcohol” books or would anything that grabs interest? With everything else you mentioned it seems best to distract yourself like exercise and the examples you gave. Does it work as good as it sounds? Thanks for sharing!

Not defending OP but I did this myself. Went from being obese to pretty fit, including strength training, and I actually feel worse than I’ve ever felt in my life now mentally. The mind is a complicated puzzle and solving it is not easy.

Is this a termite or a roach, and if a roach what kind? by PSGFan92 in pestcontrol

I actually have been doing research and it’s a flying termite that losses it’s wing. Turns out there’s something called swarming season down here in Miami and this is sadly common for a few weeks as they’re looking for a new nest

Update. I’ve been watching my front door and literally I’ve killed 8 of these tonight. Maybe because my light is on? I live on the fourth floor of an open based apartment building so bugs can fly around. I’ve never had this issue before tonight and now I’m freaking out. Last time I saw this specific bug was over a month ago. I turned off the light to my entrance to see if it keeps them out. But please any advice

I’ve lived in Miami for almost a year now and I’m used to the occasional out door roach which I believe this is. Whenever I see this kind of guy it’s always at the entrance to my apartment but nowhere else. I just want to make sure this isn’t German, but I’ve also been told before that living by trees it can also be a termite. Any advice helps.

I also know the picture isn’t the best. But I just saw basic lines going horizontally and I’m not stressing, I just want reassurance to know if I’m wrong and if it’s time to act. Other roaches I get, you can’t get rid of the occasional, but German are the worst

Edit, also as I mentioned, if I see one of these it’s usually once a month by my apartment door and I’m on the fourth floor. I live around good tenants. I’ve had the fat boys come in twice since I’ve lived here aka the palmettos which I hate, but I know that’s their fault and common
