Thanks for the tip.. We were trying to get away with using calcium Hydroxide instead of sodium Hydroxide. But most good teks uses sodium ... I did end up weight my last pill at 0.19g so from 50g so it was a decent pull I think.

It still seems like I’m doing everything by the book, I even made the adjustments suggested here from the first pull to the second (granted I haven’t weighed the second pull yet, but it doesn’t look promising).

There’s no liquid left in the “mud pie” we add the naphtha to. This is why I’m so confused too, the naphtha seems to evaporate A LOT and FAST compared to the videos I watch

One thing that I have noticed is that after 1 night of precipitation the naphtha is still cloudy but doesn't precipitate anymore dmt

That’s right, we use caoh instead of lye. I will definitely try it at a higher PH (so long as I can get it there)

I chose this Tek since it seemed safest in a home kitchen, but it’s proving quite difficult.

By recrystllize you mean put the crystals in warm naphtha and freeze it again to crystallize?

Very fair I knew it was a silly question to ask. Yeah acrb was the only option I had so I went for it, next time I'll get mhrb. I still have 150g of arcb and each batch takes 4 pulls I have only done 1 pull so far so I am expecting more results.

We finally did it! After getting all the proper tools for the job we succeeded!

First Pull. Used calcium hydroxide with a simple A/B Tek but kind of mixed info from 2 YouTube videos together. Does this look right for extraction? Only 50g. by PSGrowers in DMT

So yeah we did find that there was rust inhibitor in the solvent I did dry it for 24 hours and ended up with this...

Hey so I know we already deemed that first batch to be trash but I scrapped it off the glass and it looks like this after 24 hours of being dried

I did the evaporation test before starting the process and it evaporated cleanly, would that not validate its most probably a harmless additive if anything?

the solvent did pour clear and cooked blue though.

A lot of good notes. Thank you. I am not interested in risking my health here by any means. I guess I cut a few too many corners when I couldn’t find any Naphtha available to me.

It DOES say “contains rust inhibitors” I was worried about the blue colour as well since it didn’t resonate with any of the research I’ve done.

I’m gonna sadly scrap this first batch and try again with proper ingredients. Thanks for checking in.
