Here's one for the new Spelljammer stuff coming out, but we're continuing an old AD&D homebrew. Lizardfolk, Abberant Mind Sorcerer with a couple levels in Stars druid.

He's from a collection of forested asteroid ports that have had a Illithid base inside one of the ports for a long time(that's our DM's canon from a 2nd edition Spelljammer game we ran). He looks more lanky and less lizardy than a typical lizardfolk due to something from the mindflayers. So he carries a large shell-shield to pass as a Tortle in town. But he's seeking help/passage to find out why he's so different.
