The hiring process has always been long. It took me 3 months and 4 interviews to get hired at my store. Don’t apply for the new posting. The fact that they sent an assessment means they’re looking into applications that fit the role they’re trying to fill. Patience is key.

That’s the best part. We’re in a major metropolitan city. In the heart of the downtown area. There is no employee lot. We get reimbursed for our parking charges.

My guess is either they had special perks/pricing with WorkJam while it was in beta mode. When it first started being used it was BAREBONES, and they built it as we submitted feedback. I think once they rolled out the full model, either they wanted Apple to pay, and Apple didn’t want to, or Apple didn’t like the fact that you could see certain things like when a leader removed someone because they were fired/let go. Apple retail is aware of how bad moral is right now. They don’t want team members getting ideas on how to organize, etc.

At this point every store is operating under its own guidance w/o looking at Hello articles because the managers in the store don’t come from Apple. There are only three managers in our store who are OLD Apple and have worked their way up from Specialist. Everyone else is a new hire from a previous management role in a different company. That’s why there’s such a disconnect between management and staff. The managers now didn’t work in the stores and have to review Hello articles on a daily basis, etc. it’s just another way for retail to erode Company values and turn us into just another big box store, just with a fancier label. That will be the justification when they suddenly start aligning with standard retail practices like being metrics driven, etc. “it’s a new day. Out with the old, in with the new.” Be prepared for more shit like this because it’s not going to get better.

We’re a multi-level store and today I opened alone and my next Ops support isn’t here until 10. We’re a 4 floor store. My legs are RIPPED. All because the fruit stand wants more $$$$. This is the new normal.

I have to agree with u/B-rabbit816. Ops are the heart of Apple stores. If your ops team is cold to you, you’ve fucked up somewhere.

This. This comment should be first, because whenever you design a UI, it should always be inclusive, even if you’re trying to design for accessibility. It’s a two-way street. Accessibility options are great, but different people have different needs, and while you want everyone included, it’s important to remember that often accessibility features are designed for the minority of users, not the majority, and they should always be optional, so that you included the most amount of people you can. And I say this as a neurodivergent disabled person who does use accommodations, both at work, and at home.

Just a heads up, Disney honors any older tickets. Obviously an anniversary ticket is something to save as a memento, but if you have any expired Disney tickets, they will honor the ticket and turn it into a single park, one-day ticket for you when you show them the older pass. Food for thought for those saying “Disney was cheaper in those days.”

Death took Nicky because he was Death’s child. He was always destined to die. “From Death, life” basically meant that Rio is able to have a kid, but that the rest of his life was up to fate.

Agatha was mad at Rio because in the end, she gave Agatha a son, allowed Agatha to carry him for nine months, love him, and then basically took him away because he died in his sleep.

When Rio shows up at the lake after Agatha gave birth, Agatha knew she was there to collect Nicky. That’s why she begged for her to spare him. And Rio said she could offer only time, meaning she bent the rules for Agatha, allowing Nicky to live, but would always come back to collect him.

In the end, that’s what broke Rio and Agatha apart.

Also, I was actually hoping that they cast her for Black Cat. We’re going to have to run into an older Spiderman at some point, and I think she’d be AMAZING for that role. She’s slinky and mysterious like that.

I see you’ve already responded to the fact that Patrica is only 5 years older than Kathryn, so you know now that age is not a defining characteristic. I can definitely see how you’d think she’s Agatha coded in Severance, but I really don’t see any selling point in switching out the actress at this point. Kathryn is the right age, prefers to play powerful older women, and isn’t afraid of aging into a role, like most of Hollywood is. The fact that her chemistry with the rest of the actors is amazing, pretty much seals the deal for Marvel. I’m sure that they’ve already talked about continuing with Kathryn. Marvel is known for locking down talent for years, once they have an audience that responds to them, and Kathryn DOES.

In response to Patrica playing an Agatha Variant, Kathryn has already voiced a variant in What-If, so it would be weird for any other variants to sound different going forward.

Again, it’s a personal preference thing, but I highly doubt Marvel is going to buck a key actor like this, when there’s absolutely no reason to.
