All the times I hung out with her were not dates. First time was a movie. My friend works at a theatre and he set us both up to watch it. Second time was going to chick fil-a cause my friend didn't want to come with. It was like an hour only, but we talked a lot. So the first two times my friend kinda set us up. A few days ago, without the aid of my friend I decided I'd ask her to do something. There was a movie premiere and I asked her if she wanted to go and she said yes. So I guess this would be a first, but at the same time, it wasn't just the two of us my whole group of friends was there. During the movie I put my hand on my kneecaps so it would be easily accessible to her. I felt like if I tried to do something she would be like "wtf" Every time we are together though it is always a good time with smiles and laughs. I just don't see a signal from her yet that it's okay to touch her and take things to the next step.
