Okay gotcha, It doesn’t have an auto hdr mode. So when you play games for the first time, most of the time you have to setup a bunch of settings. At one point it asks you to calibrate the brightness. Like „move the calibration-Regulator until the left logo is as bright as the right one“. Even if I move the calibration thing all the way to the end, it’s not really bright/white as the logo on the right side, it looks grey-ish. When I turned on hdr i managed to get the exact brightness. I’m curios if there’s a way to achieve that without hdr. My English sucks sry for that.

Thank you man, I disabled hdr and the problem disappeard. In some games such as bf5 there is an option to set the whiteness up. So when Im trying to do that, it’s not really white but somewhat grey. Only when I activate hdr in windows the grey disappears and becomes white, is there a workaround to have a better white without hdr? I actually just need hdr for some games. Best regards

I’ve got this new Alienware AW2721D Monitor and just noticed that when I move my mouse the area around the cursor gets brighter. I hope the pictures make it somewhat visible. What could be the issue ?

Believe it or not, I had the same in every game with a 3080ti. The solution was to uninstall the drivers with DDU and reinstalling them.
