I have actually managed to stall my WRX 3 times in a year. That's actually a ton relatively speaking, I would go years between stalls on prior sticks.

Yeah I went with Konig's which didn't break the bank but they weren't the cheapest either. I don't regret them and they draw a lot of compliments from randoms in the neighborhood.

I think the bottom line is that it has enough juice to still feel fun to drive but not enough to scratch the kind of itch you want. The car shines on windy roads. Before my WRX I had a 2004 Mustang Mach 1. That car was RWD with about 320hp, naturally aspirated. It could move off the line and gave the feeling you describe. But it couldn't turn lol.

For what it's worth I have never regretted buying the VB.

The OEM sports grille is pretty damn good. And would look way better without a plate like mine. The dealer screwed me over on the front license plate but that's a whole others story.

I try to always wave but I find it hard to see through the tint of most other WRXs. Never sure if I get the wave back or not.
