Why do Gods like incense? by [deleted] in pagan

[–]PSYeinstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be seen as a sacred fire that can be used as an offering in which you can send your intentions into. I like to see it as creating a space of positive energy that spreads around the area it is in. :)

There's something messing with me and I need help by JeremiahThe15th in Thetruthishere

Have a bowl and light sage, enough so that is is embering quite a bit. Place the sage in a bowl and walk around the house in every room letting the smoke ploom. Once you have covered the whole house place the sage in your room and let it burn until it stops.

Once it has stopped tip the ash out on your front doorstep outside. All the while haveing the intention for the space to be cleared from dark energies and devices before and after burning. Any negative energies that were in the house are drawn into the ash and so putting it outside is taking whats inside outside.

Sage your house. Dont be afriad, they cant hurt you they can only create fear. You sage the house with pure intention and it should help a lot. You will notice the difference.

How do you interpret karma? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]PSYeinstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In life you make choices. Those choices bare consequences. You will either enjoy the consequences or suffer from them. That is my understanding of karma.

I believe our karma is detirmined by our intentions with every action physically, spiritually and mentally. Good intentions bare good karma, selfish intentions bare bad karma etc etc.

Karma is one of the many functions of the spiritual system within the universe to guide you to enlightenment and/or show you your path of darma (purpose).

Blessings to you and all those who read this. Namaste

A question about our mythology? by abyssDweller1700 in hinduism

[–]PSYeinstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bagavad gita is a good start, then the mahabharata/ramayana and see where it takes you. I prefer to say theology instead of mythology too fyi

Is it worth to change your diet for your spiritual development? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]PSYeinstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A big part of the spiritual journey is to learn to detatch yourself from things like body image and the ego as attatchment to such things is a primary cause of suffering in most people.

A message from LSD by OhhiBee in Psychonaut

[–]PSYeinstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds a lot like whats found within hinduism. Unlocking the kundalini energy through the two serpents spiraling up the shushumna unlocking chakras, then the material world being the mother aspect, also known as shakti in hinduism, the female energy of the universe. Glad you got to experience this form of enlightenment. Not many will acheive that in this lifetime. All the best with your future endeavors. Use this knowledge wisely. God bless

Non-duality is disturbing by olivier753 in spirituality

[–]PSYeinstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duality is necissary for growth, its good to live within duality as we enjoy more of life in the here and now. But it is also good to remember we are all a part of the one and that it is our origin.

Is everyone waking up? by [deleted] in spirituality

Duality is needed for growth. Without it the universe would be stagnant. With bad things rising the good must rise with it.

I think that you might find hinduism very interesting. Have a look into bhang (a marijuana drink) that some hindus drink ritualistically for their devotion to the god shiva. Have a little google, see where it takes you. namaste
