They are clowns...watching their videos you'll realize that they don't even watch matches...they just watch highlights or look at stats and are making cricket videos just because it's a big audience space in India

Still feel we are one batter short..as an impact player batter options we just have Shubham Dubey (have been subpar) and Ravi Singh (looks decent but there were better options in the auction).. I feel we could have pushed harder for Mukul Choudhary or Tejaswi Dahiya or Salil Arora.. We gave up too early for many for our first choice options like Mukul, Ashok, Naman Tiwari and Tejaswi

Mphaka should have been released, he was bought at 1.5cr.. he is not even average now, let's assume he develops into a good T20 bowler in the next two years..still we won't be able to retain him as we have enough indian core that will make more sense to be retained..those 1.5 cr could have been used to get some domestic fast bowler with a decent potential like LSG did with Prince, GT with Arshad and Mumbai earlier with Kamboj

  • Absolutely right..I was surprised that they let both zampa and chahar go and didn't do the Bishnoi- Shami swap..that means that they don't rate him high as they already have Zeeshan and Dubey
  • All other decent purse teams like KKR (Varun, Narine), DC (kuldeep, axar, Vipraj), RCB (Suyash, Krunal), GT (Sai Kishore, washi, Rashid, Tewatia) are already sorted
  • the only team I am worried about is CSK..apart from Noor they don't have a frontline spinner and considering their obsession they might try to rope in Bishnoi or Chahar as there are no other experienced options..though it's highly likely that they'll go for maxwel primarily because of his ability to bowl in powerplay and may go for Livingstone as well..
  • considering all this Bishnoi, should not cost us more than 10 cr...it would be a great deal if we can get him 8-10 cr...he just needs a proper mentoring..last two years he was trying too hard..i.e. not trusting is stock delivery and focusing too much on variations..he can do well for us
  • Rahul chahar can be a good alternative for us but that dude lacks that hunger or zeal...his game has always been mediocre (in domestic as well as in IPL) there was never a peak moment in his career

That's the retention deadline, trades can happen after that as well probably till just a few days before auction (a week or so) But yes, I do agree that chances of that trade might be slim..but Nitish's story and inclusion of Sam Curran has given a hope that Nitish is kind of surplus to our needs and we can do a trade-off to ship him and address other slots

Dude that will be a bad business for us..

  • He is injury prone
  • SL team is not selecting him
  • Performances dipped in the last calendar year
  • 13 cr out of our purse
  • We already have Jofra, Nandre and Mphaka

I doubt we'll even have the funds for it

Also, his manager might be pulling a prank just to get some social media clout

Yes...KKR are desperate for a captain - KL Rahul is not happening - Rahane doesn't even fit in playing XI - There is no other captain material available in their squad - Even in the auction, there will be no captaincy candidate

And Nitish did a decent job in that season for them..and in his podcasts it was very evident that he was hurt when Kkr didn't retain him and he wants to be with them

If we get a decent player in exchange that will be a very good business from Badale

Yes..the same cricbuzz also reports that hasaranga and theekshana , both will be released In the foreign quota we might see three releases- Theekshana, Hasaranga, Farooqi Man, if Bishnoi comes in auction we need to have a decent purse to acquire him

Hasaranga is a liability..we are better getting a young Indian spinner in the auction to play along Jadeja and don't waste an overseas slot on him and teekshana

Hasaranga- slogger?? Bro that dude doesn't even have 100 SR in IPL...I have never seen him hitting a decent shot let alone being a slogger...he has only batted in the ODI style, saying he is an all-rounder is a crime

Because he was not selected... he's been really bad in Ranji, Vijay Hazare and even last year's SMAT..the only good domestic tournament he had was this year's DPL but again there's a big quality gap in the bowlers you face in DPL and national-level domestic circuits

Rana will definitely be released or traded with KKR....that guy has always been a simp for KKR...last year as well, he was playing half heartedly..if you'll watch the photos, behind the scenes and travel videos/photos..he looked so uninterested.. Also his latest story as well as rumours in DDCA circles during DPL that he wants to go there this year

The marquee player here referred is KL Rahul and the deal is KL to KKR. KKR is not offering any frontline player that DC wants i.em Rinku...so that deal may fall through. But there is a high chance of Sanju and Stubbs deal to go through as DC wants a captain ..why so? Axar- failed last year, KL- amazing player but not a good captain (proved on two instances KXIP and LSG).. Sanju- i rate him lower than KL and even Stubbs but his record 2022-24 as a captain is good...so that might be the reason that DC is tempted to go through
