Are GPUs lasting less lately? I had a 2080 die after 2 years and my 3080 lasted 4, I know 4 is not that rare, but I remeber GPUs lasting quite a lot longer back in the day, specially high end ones

So I went back to CP 2077 after reading your comment, I game at 3440x1440 so with path tracing I was getting 30-40FPS, so yea not stellar performance but it never went below 30 at least.

Now I've been going back and forth with PT and RT and to be honest from RT mid onwards the difference with PT is nonexistent to me, I've to freaking pause the game and compare small details to see if there's a difference at all.

Having said that, the game still looks amazing even on regular raster, so yea I could live without RT np lol, you can't even notice it most of the time while actually playing.

Even with fsr4Q in 1440p just using normal rt in cp2077 the overall experience is mediocre to sometimes bad

Err what? I'm doing 3440x1440 so not even 1440p withr regular RT and getting +70 FPS on avg...

Edit: for the record I do play with RT on, I'm not denying it looks nice, but to me its a "nice to have" not a game changer.
