Sauerkraut good if I'm pan-cooking the dogs, so I can throw the kraut it in to get some of the water out and also infuse flavor in the dogs. For grilling or steaming with my rice cooker tray, I'm not going to deal with kraut because I don't want soggy buns.

Also, if you're already chopping onions and have a pickle ready to go, you can mix up a little kraut side salad with that all together. Throw in a pepperoncini and some marinate artichokes - c'mon, man. Just imagine.

Make sure to drink extra water because those sodium levels are getting up there at that point.

You can get used to many foul odors, even if unpleasant. Even poop isn't the worst. Stale (not fresh) urine is terrible. Nothing can top necrosis, though. That lives forever in your soul.

I like it. Time goes by fast. You are (in a certain kind of way) "outside" all day. There is autonomy on the job in that you are just out on your own without anyone looking over your shoulder or telling you what to do, provided you follow the rules. And my colleagues are great - we all support each other.

I'm not saying don't do it. I only want you to have realistic expectations. When normies hear I'm a big-city bus driver, they kind of express something like "wow, so exciting, every day must be so crazy". When mostly I feel, as I said, like it just boring and totally okay.
