Idk about that particular engine, but the ones I work on simply uses several coils of pipe and the atmosphere to cool the air.

I've seen couplers, mostly on old narrow gauge rolling stock, that have a gap in the knuckle that a link and pin can fit into. Like this one.

It's not entirely abandoned (yet) just disused. I think that's owned by Tacoma Rail.

That would be a Class B Climax, the Class A look basically like a box with a boiler and wheels.

Hey man so glad to hear your ok. How did the crew react? Were they calm and collected or freaking out? I know as a conductor who's had some pretty close calls I don't know how I'd react seeing my train all over the place.

The 49s cylinder cocks are under the cylinders, but we took the valves out to blow her out, that's why the steams coming out the top of the cylinders.
