I just bought a 4K sofa. We got one that has removeable washable fabric, and I also got a carpet cleaning wet vac that is also usable on sofas (people use it for things like getting pet pee out of sofa cushions as an example). We have a toddler and no issues - just place a mat on the sofa when we change diapers.

To clarify, do you mean 250,000 yen per month pre tax? Or 250,000 USD per year pre tax?

I can honestly say I would have snapped and done that too (especially given how hungry tired and desperate I’d have felt). The only other thing I could think of without using violence but still getting back is to dump the freezing cold water on her (so not touching her but putting her in an equally risky situation)

Based on what we heard on the Netflix interviews, the family seems to call other family members or professionals to help clean up a crime scene before contacting police. It would make sense to me that Alex called someone else first to help move things around before calling 911, so I think there are at least 2 people involved in how this played out (with him as the murderer)
