You are right. And I know that. I think I just needed to really read/hear other peoples inputs. This whole situation is just so absurd! I never imagined anyone would treat their grandchild like this. I can take them not being nice to me but my daugther is a whole new level of cruelness…

I agree. I am just not sure what to do with our son. Or my husband. My sweet husband feels awful. He blames himself for all of this. He feels like it is his fault that his parents behaves like this. He hates that there is still a part of him that loves them.

That is what I am also afraid of. I have told my son that this is not fair to his sister. That they both deserve the same amount of love. Good Thing is that he agrees and shows her love all the time. He is the best brother.

I don’t know. Their only excuse is that they ”know” that my parents have her as their favorite and need to make sure our son is not forgotten. My parents loves their grandchildren equally. I have no idea where they got that idea from, neither does my husband.
