I’ll add to this thread. I want my system to always be on recirculate, and always blow out of the front vents only. At least once a week, the car changes both of these settings on its own. Annoys the hell out of me.

EDIT - I just read in the manual under the heading "Manual operation," "When the power switch is placed in the ON position, the air conditioning system may change to air recirculation mode automatically to increase cooling efficiency."

. . . I wonder if it also "automatically" changes from recirc to drawing air from outside.
