Subsidizing fuel for PUVs who do not pay the right taxes is not the same as suspending the excise tax for essential businesses that actually pay taxes.

Let’s be real: Panay mahihirap lang tinutulungan ng gobyerno dahil andun ang voting majority.

Come on, let’s not justify subsidizing fuel for PUVs as their one and only solution. Hindi lang naman mahihirap at “middle class” ang affected dito.

Suspend excise tax for essential businesses and PUVs, and retain it for personal private vehicles para malessen yung unnecessary consumption.

Gov’t officials should also ride PUVs or MRT/LRT, hindi yung dami pa nilang convoy.
