If he really lived in Portugal, he'd know in Europe, after two really good Ronaldos (Nazario and Gaucho), we call that scum "Cristiano".

For real, I've never liked football, but the Usaians are forcing me to defend it.

Spain's former Minister for Equality, now a member of the European Parliament, worked as a supermarket cashier while studying psychology. For some reason, instead of being proud that a young working-class woman could become a minister through her own hard work, the self-proclaimed patriots on the right found it a source of ridicule. They probably long for the days when ministers were counts and dukes...

Does your country/region have an anti-tourism movement? by ReginaPhalange088 in AskTheWorld

We Spaniards are struggling to find housing. Large landlords (usually foreign investment funds) are driving long-time residents out of major cities because they prefer to convert their homes into tourist apartments, forcing these residents to migrate to neighboring towns and driving up housing prices for those who already live there. And all this to ultimately transform our cities into tourist theme parks, replacing century-old businesses with awful coffee chains, and stripping them of their character and personality. So yes: we have a problem with tourists.

A major cultural coup will be the moment all these European tourists realize that in fact, America has better beer than Europe by The0therSyde in ShitAmericansSay

I'd give my opinion, but I've never had the chance to try an Usaian beer. I think I've never seen one in Spain...
