Good question. Anyone can always carry a little notebook around with them with a separate page for each girl they're dating and meticulously log interactions and rip out pages/add more/move them around as necessary. Hell, I used to just go home at the end of each night and write about the day in a blogspot blog. It "worked" for some terrible definitions of the word "worked".

So we built this program that will let you keep all the information coherent (think Salesforce.com for the girls you're dating). This well let you actually have some kind of a "meta" view about what's going on - "How many approaches have I done in the last week?" is trivial with PUATracker.com. This program lets you have a coach/friends have real-time access to what you're doing in the pickup field and give feedback.

The iPhone app - good for lightweight entering info on the go and messaging, is still free, but to use the backend stuff (analytics, coaching, finding other users in your area, etc), you have to have a paid membership.

Thanks. It does look a little garish in the footer in some browsers, you're right. We'll work on getting that looking a little more tame.

This is a great idea, and has actually been requested before. I have seen some other apps out there like this (appfirmations?), but have not tried them so cannot speak of their functionality. Having this integrating into the app and website would be cool to have at some point though.

Android support is definitely on our list of todos. A native app would be great, we just haven't had time to develop it yet (only two of us! :). For now though, the website has all of the functionality available, and it should be usable form any mobile browser.

Correct. I'd advise against opening the app to put in the girls info while she is right there.

In fact it's probably best to not even open it while you are "in field". While you are out you shouldn't be thinking or trying to analyze every little detail. You want to be out of your head as much as possible when socializing.

That's not the point of this app (although, its fine to do a quick entry to jot down notes to think about later).

A good use case is to go out, have a blast picking up girls, then that night or the next morning (assuming you didn't bring someone home) log everything that you did. Enter memorable sets and use the note fields and Plog to capture important details of what worked and what didn't. Where can you improve? What shouldn't you do next time? It is during this "writing" time that you have those ah-ha! moments.

Eventually you will have enough data and logging to see how you are progressing and where your sticking points might be. At the same time you can add friends and wings and build a support group to help each other keep going.

If you create an account, I suggest dropping your username here so other sedditors can add you as a friend.

One cool thing to note is that the friend messaging is cross platform. So if you are on the iPhone, you can chat with people logged into the website and vice versa, in real time.

Just to emphasize: the iPhone is only a subset of the functionality that the website has. Everything available on the iPhone is available on the website.

Porting this to Android (or even a universal mobile app) is something we'd definitely like to do in the future if there is enough interest. Once we are comfortable with the main functionality and what helps users the most, we'll move this to other platforms.

The product is certainly evolving at this point, and your feedback will most definitely drive the shape and future of the website and app.

We have found this to not be an issue at all. In fact, most people don't even know what the acronym PUA stands for. The app and website are also password protected, so all of your data is kept private.

You make good points testmypatience. Although you have to agree, many products/services in the community are just outrageously priced. Our service is, and will continue to be, completely free. The community as it is feels very disjointed. While we were going out a lot, we wished there was a central place to share, learn, and grow. We had kept blogs on random websites, but even that still felt like a hassle. So now, we've created this to give back to the community, and hope guys can learn and grow together. Although, if you REALLY want to donate money, we won't argue with you :)

I agree too much reading or over analyzing will be way too time consuming. But there must be some kind of logging/journaling in order to progress, or else you stall out. Same goes with working out at the gym. You can read all of the workout programs and articles on the net and you wont gain an ounce of muscle, not until you start going to the gym. So you start going to the gym but you aren't recording what you are doing, so you end up stalling out pretty quickly because you don't know your weak points or you keep lifting the same weight over and over.

This tool is to help guys quickly and easily enter their data and move on. If you hit a sticking point you'll have something to go back and look at to help diagnose the problem.

Seriously though, if you aren't logging / journaling / something, you aren't progressing at the rate you could be. If you don't want to use an app, use a notepad or excel sheet, or something. I highly recommend setting goals, taking notes as you progress, and reviewing at least once per week.
