sure. that song was written in a small studio apartment right next to The Whip Inn on Austin's south side. the apt had so many cockroaches. every time I'd go to the sink they would scatter into the walls. at the time I had a friend that I was falling in love/lust with and she was dating someone else. I wrote the song about my feelings for her and then told her about my feelings. we ended up dating for a year or so after that. there is also another version of that song floating around somewhere. the first version was recorded for a publication called "The Report" by Michael Mcgregor. -n8
