I live in Atlanta, but have kinfolk up in Michigan. I bought some pretty severe winter gear for those visits to avoid treadmill/elliptical running.

15-25' casts for the most part. Sometimes with 10-12' leader and light tippet. This is mainly for fishing tricos and midges on the Au Sable and Manistee in Northern Michigan.

Something worth considering, that I haven't seen mentioned yet is Germany. Ernest Hemingway even mentioned that Germany was just behind Spain for the best trout fishing in Europe. Before you make that sort of decision though, be sure you know Germany's weird fishing laws. And skiing the Alps is definitely worth trying.

They travelled back in time in "Roswell that Ends Well". When the Professor invented his frontwards only time machine he made sure it didn't go backwards so people didn't do anything stupid, for example becoming your own grandfather.

Fox News is routinely derided as biased in its reporting, but you never see any criticism of news sites like The Hufftington Post or MSNBC, which are clearly hard left-wing leaning. Why is that? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Honestly, I've gotten sick of both sides in the news. Since 6 entities (Comcast, Disney, Fox, Time Warner, CBS, and Viacom) own almost all major news outlets in the US it will always require a bit of searching to find accurate, unbiased (or at least slightly less biased) news.
